The ENIEF/MECOM series congresses, sponsored by the Argentine Association of Computational Mechanics, are annual meetings aimed at disseminating scientific and technological information about computational methods in engineering. Additionally, they seek to promote scientific and professional exchange regarding the use of numerical methods and computational techniques in both research and their application to the industrial sector.
Rosario is a city located in the southeast of the province of Santa Fe, Argentina, serving as the head of the homonymous department. It is the most populous city in the province and the third largest in the country, including its metropolitan area. Situated on the western bank of the Paraná River, part of the Paraná-Paraguay waterway, Rosario hosts a port spanning 140 hectares that handles both general and bulk cargo. The city is part of a region of great economic importance, with approximately 70% of the country’s cereal production exported through its port. Rosario is known as the Birthplace of the Argentine Flag, and its most prominent landmark is the National Flag Memorial. As a focal point for education and culture, the city boasts significant museums and libraries, while its tourist infrastructure includes architectural tours, promenades, boulevards, parks, and hotels.
