Análisis Dinámico de Estructuras Sometidas a Cargas Aleatorias de Viento

Abstract

An efficient scheme is proposed for the analysis of free-standing guyed structures subjected to random wind loading, by using a numerical integration method in the frequency domain. The physical model of the structure is based on a
general beam formulation. In addition, a linear viscoelastic constitutive law was incorporated and the fast Fourier transform algorithm (FFT) was used in order to work in the frequency domain.
The wind is a fluid with turbulent motion and is commonly idealised as a stationary, correlated, Gaussian stochastic
process. The mean value and the power spectral density function can be used as the first two statistical orders. Then, a
simulation process was used to model the wind load. Finally, a numerical simulation example is presented in order to show the capabilities of the models proposed.
