Minimización de la Fisuración en Recipientes para Fluidos Mediante Técnicas Numéricas

Abstract

This paper is related with the design of geometrical configurations, as a function of the Structural Mechanics. In particular, will be analysed a concrete water tank. in which,
with the aim of minimizing the appearance of cracks on the surface of the walls and bottom of the recipient, were minimised the tensile stresses and two parameters, the
Structural Volumetric Flexure. that takes into count the stresses produced by bending moments, and the Structural Volumetric Displacement, that takes into count all the
displacements produced in the shell.
Unfortunately, cracks resulting from the rheological phenomena occurring in concrete are unavoidable, but if the shell has a mechanical behaviour where compression stresses
are prevailing, these cracks shall be tend to close and their extension shall be more
limited.
