Neutralizador Electromecánico de Vibraciones: Parámetros Equivalentes Generalizados

Carlos Alberto Bavastri

Abstract

Vibration neutralizers are mechanical devices which, on being attached to a dynamic structure, will reduce the latter's vibration and sound radiation. In some particular cases, these devices must prove able to undergo adaptations in order to exercise a suitable control. Electromechanical neutralizers posses this ability, thus can be applied to both active and passive control methods.
A methodology is introduced to optimally devise an electromechanical neutralizer.
The characteristic function from which these devices optimal parameters are found is established following two approaches - one of them by means of an analogy with
traditional techniques, the other one by using an equivalent viscous model. A numerical example is shown to account for this device's efficiency, and results are compared to those of traditional mechanical neutralizers.
