Abstract

The crops production is affected by the low aeration and the generation of anhidric carbonic resulting from biological activity in soils. Numerous authors have studied the moohanism of aeration problems in the production systems on fixed domains. A model of free boundary for the diffusion and consumption of oxygen in spherical aggregates of soil is presented. It is computed the exactly solution of the stationary state and a computational algorithm based in shooting method fur problems of absorption-diffusion one-dimensional is presented. It is presented some preliminary and comparative results with those obtained by classic methods of finite elements
