Modelo Transitorio de Tensiones de Corte para el Análisis de Golpe de Ariete en Régimen Laminar

Ricardo A. Prado, Axel E. Larrateguy

Abstract

A simple model is presented in order to solve the laminar water-hammer problem for a rigid pipe with constant circular cross section. The proposed model represents the fluid shear stress as a fuction of the flow mean velocity and high order "velocities" that verify the linear and angular momentum
equations, the latter for different orders. This model shows a better agreement than the quasistationary model, which is generally used, when compared with an experimental test. Moreover, the results of the present model are similar to those given by more complex models.
