Solución Numérica del Problema de Conducción de Calor con Cambio de Fase Mediante Métodos de Dominio Fijo
Abstract
We develop two fixed domain models for heat conduction with phase change to be applied in steel casting simulation: an effective capacitance model obtained by spatial regularization
and a temperature-based one. Both models are spatially discretized using linear triangle finite elements, while a backward-Euler finite difference scheme is used for time discretization.
Special emphasis is posed on solving the governing non-linear equation by efficient incremental-iterative methods.
