Ajuste de Modelos Basado en la Minimización de los Errores de las Ecuaciones Constitutivas

A model updating method based on the minimization of errors on the constitutive law is presented. The error can be understood as a residual strain energy result of the unbalance
in the FE model equilibrium equation. The algorithm can be classified into the sensitivity based group of model updating methods. It is closely related to an updating technique
previously published by considering the coupling between the expansion of the measurements and the model correction step. The method is tested trough numerical and experimental examples. It shows to be efficient in the three steps related to the updating of a FE model: expansion, error localisation, model correction.
