Aplicación del Método de Puntos Finitos a la Resolución de la Ecuación de Poisson en 2D

Abstract


This paper presents a meshless procedure for the solution of partial differential equations, using a combination of point collocation method and moving least squares interpolation with the weighted residual method. As application example, the Poisson equation in two dimensions have been solved by this procedure taking into account Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions. Error evaluation and convergence analysis have been presented.
