Teorías Locales y No Locales en Falla Localizada de Sólidos Cohesivo-Friccionales
Abstract
The capability of elastoplastic micropolar formulations based on Cosserat theory to regularize the softening behavior during computational failure simulations is analyzed. The
attention also focuses on the influence of the mesh orientation on the failure predictions.
The results included in this work indicate that micropolar continuum are able to supresses localization and therefore lead to objective predictions. However, these predictions
strongly depend on the mesh orientation.
