Aplicação de Placa de Reissner-Mindlin Modelada com Elemento Bilinear e Cortante Imposto a Problemas Dinámicos

Abstract

Here a four node bilinear Reissner-Mindlin plate bending element with an imposed shear strain field is applied to dynamic problems. Several numerical examples involving both free and forced vibrations are presented and the results are compared to existing solutions taken from the literature, with the objective of demonstrating the adequacy of this element for the class of problems considered.
