Efectos Dinámicos sobre Estructuras Esbeltas de Sección Circular

Abstract


The dynamic effects due to vortex shedding on slender structures having circular crosssections are studied. The fluid dynamic forces are determined by a potential model that represents the von Karman vortex street. The structure is modeled by finite elements and the load response is evaluated by the mode-superposition procedure.
