Adaptaciópn de Modelos Basada en Respuestas Dinámicas: una Comparación de Métodos

Abstract


Applying Finite Elements Methods on the design of machines and structures sometimes presents problems on modelling some'localized sectors, such as: joints, bears, complex geometry elements. In this cases, modelling is done through equivalent parameters. Frecuently this models differ too much of reality and the calculated behavior do not agree with the real behavior of analized elements. To solve this problem, it has been developed model updating techniques, which are based on comparing results from FE models with results coming from
experimental tests; mostly dynamic tests.
At this work it is presented and evaluated three model updating techniques that use Frecuency Response Functions (FRF) at diferent points of the analysed system as a measure of error. It
is studyed for an example, convergence properties, Time and number of operations needed,
stability of the methods when noise and damping appears on the measures, number of
excitation frecuencies and measured points and needed effort to implement each method.
