Estratificación por Fases Particuladas en Flujos Embalsados

Abstract


A mathematical-numerical model to solve 20 vertical Navler-Stokes and transport of suspended material equations. in the case of turbulent flow with a principal direction of motion, is developed. This model is used to study· backwater flows. The influence of the hydrodynamic conditions over the solid transport is studied. It is shown that this type of flow generates stratification and gives rise to the formation of bottom structures by deposition of the particulate phase.
