Simulación Numérica de un Escurrimiento Turbulento sobre un Tren de Dunas en Canal de Laboratorio

Abstract


A t.wo-dimensional. permanent and turbulent matemathical model ("zero eqiJation") is presented. It is based on Navier-Stokes equations and the Finite Element Method is adopted.
The main hydraulics parameters of the mean flow, viz, velocity, pressure, skin-shear stresses and turbulent-stresses profile were computed. Predictions were compared with experimental data, obtained over fixed dunes, in a glass-channel.
