Uso de Pseudo-Concentraciones para el Análisis de Procesos Transitorios de Conformación Plástica de Metales

H. J. Antúnez, S. R. Idelsohn

Abstract

The Pseudo-Concentration Method is applied to the analysis of transient processes. By means of keeping an Eulerian formulation a simple, easy to handle, model is obtained, most of all for not requiring remeshing after a certain amount of plastic deformation. It is enlarged the range of applicability of the method to non confined and with several free surfaces processes. A seamless tube rolling process and a cylinder upsetting are modelled. Experimental data and results obtained by other methods are used to compare and duscurss the performance of the model.
