Minimização de Banda e Perfil de Matrizes de Rigidez de Estruturas

Abstract

An algorithm is presented with the aim of minimize the profile and bandwidth of structural stiffness matrices. An element reordering is iniciallY perfomed and then the new nodal order is obtained using the elimination process known as FRONTAL SOLUTION. The algorithm was successfully used is several microco~puters.
