Fomulaςão do Método dos Elementos de Contorno para Placas Contínuas

Abstract


In this paper a boundary element formulation is presented for the analysis of plates with continuum internal supports. The integral equation formulation of the method is used to derive expressions for the determination of effects due to linear loads applied in the domain.
After discretizing the plate boundary the obtained system of equations can be modified to include internal unknowns in order to allow continuum plate analysis. Examples solved with the proposed algorithm are compared with the exact solution to emphasize the quality of the results obtained.
