Algoritmos para la Determinación de la Reserva Necesaria en Sistemas de Generación de Energía Eléctrica

Abstract

This work shows algorithms for generation reserve calculations in electric power systems. Firstly a Monte-Carlo based algorithm is presented.
Then an analytical approach based on the convolution of failure probability functions of generators is described. Data uncertainties and assistance from interconnected systems are considered.
Finally, examples of application of this algorithms to investigate important questions about generation reserve calculations are shown.
