Modelos Numéricos Simplificados Para Análisis Dinámico No Lineal De Planos Sismorresistentes.

Abstract


The implementation of the “Performance-based seismic engineering” results in the
necessity of solving several non linear dynamic problems of space structural systems. Due to
the complexity of the analysis, it is considered convenient to reduce the degree of freedom
number. Two non linear simplified models, to represent the resistant vertical planes with only
one horizontal degree of freedom per story, are proposed and assessed. The constitutive
relationships are obtained from previous analyses. The examples show a very good behavior
for push-over analysis, and acceptable performance for earthquake dynamic actions.
