On behalf of the International Society for Structural and Multidisciplinary 
Optimization
(ISSMO), we are very proud to announce that the WCSMO-10 will be held at 
Renaissance
Orland at SeaWorld, Orlando, Florida, USA, May 19-24, 2013.

 

The main objectives of the conference are to stimulate and promote research 
into all
aspects of the optimal design of structures and related topics. This includes
engineering systems consisting partially of structures and/or fluids, and to 
encourage
practical applications of optimization methods and software development in all 
branches

Topics

Contributions are invited from all fields of structural and multidisciplinary 
design
optimization. Papers on theories, methods, algorithms, and applications are 
all
welcomed. The topic areas for this conference have been organized into ten 
subject areas
with two or three topics in each subject.

Abstract and Submission Guideline

Authors are invited to submit an abstract of around 500 words in English. Each 
abstract
should clearly describe the current status of the work and should clearly 
distinguish
between the original results already on record and those expected. It should 
not contain
figures or extensive references. Abstract submission should be processed by 
using the
on-line submission system of the WCSMO-10 website from September 15, 2012 to 
January 15,

Review and Notification of acceptance

The final selection of papers for presentation will be made by the 
International Papers
Committee. Notification of acceptance will be sent to the corresponding authors 
via
e-mail by February 15, 2013.
