Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to inform you that the Polish Association for Computational
Mechanics (PACM) in collaboration with the Institute of Fundamental
Technological Research, Polish Academy of Sciences (IPPT PAN) is organising
a one-week course Mathematical Theory of Finite Elements  which will be
held 24-28 June 2019 in Warsaw.
The course will be lectured by Prof. Leszek Demkowicz from the University
of Texas at Austin. The lectures will be delivered in English and will take
place in the premises of IPPT PAN at Pawinskiego 5B, Warsaw.
The course is organised under auspices of the European Community on
Computational Methods in Applied Sciences (ECCOMAS) as an ECCOMAS Advanced
Course.
The course is thought for PhD students, young scientists and all
researchers who would like to know and better understand mathematical
fundamentals of the finite element method.
