The Computational Imaging Lab the Department of Technology of the
Universidad
Pompeu Fabra (www.upf.edu) is considering research candidates at the
pre- y post-doctoral level for being incorporated to its research lines in
the area
Of three-dimensional cardiovascular medical image analysis.

The research group has been initiated at the University of Zaragoza
(www.cv.i3a.unizar.es), and has recently moved to Barcelona. The team
features
a young, active and international atmosphere. Also, collaborations already
exist with several hospitals in Barcelona and other national and European
research institutions.

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with a solid background in
theoretical computer science, physics, mathematics or engineering at
pre- and post-doctoral level. The salary will be based upon the experience
of the candidate. EU citizenship is an additional pro although this call
is
open to candidates of any nationality.

This is an open call and the candidate will be integrated in the research
project
best suiting its interests and background. However, in view of our current
research areas, candidates with experience in any or several of the
following
Topics will be preferred: computational geometry, three-dimensional
vision,
numerical methods, PDE techniques, computational mechanics, statistics and
probability, solid and fluid mechanics.
