THIRTEENTH CONFERENCE ON
FINITE ELEMENTS FOR FLOW PROBLEMS
 4-6 April 2005

Objective

The Finite Elements for Flow Problems Conference Series is now entering its
fourth decade. In 2005, the Conference will return to the University of
Wales at Swansea, which was the location of the first Conference in the
Series in 1974. The Conference aims to bring together researchers, practical
engineers and students who are engaged in all aspects of the computer
modelling of flow, and flow related, phenomena.

Location

 The Conference will be held at the University of Wales Swansea, situated at
the centre of the South Wales coastline. The main campus lies within
Singleton Park on the broad sweep of Swansea Bay, between the City of
Swansea and the old fishing village of Mumbles. A few miles away lies the
picturesque Gower Peninsula which was the UK's first designated Area of
Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Travel and Hotel Information

 Swansea has good air, road and rail connections. Cardiff International
Airport is just one hour away. The M4 motorway, the main east-west arterial
route from London, passes through the northern outskirts of Swansea. Swansea
railway station is on the main line from London Paddington, which is less
than 3 hours away.

There is a range of accommodation from small hotels to Swansea's luxurious
Morgan Hotel, within central Swansea and Mumbles. For more details visit

Fees

The Conference registration fees are £250 and £175 for delegates and
students, respectively before 31st January 2005. After this date the
corresponding registration fees will be £325 and £225.
