"Modelling and numerical methods for a Lab-on-a-Chip"

Expositor:  Daniel Köster  (Mathematisch-Naturwissenschaftlichen Fakultät 
der Universität Augsburg)

Labs-on-a-chip are a recent development in life science. The aim is to
provide a complete analysis or reaction system on a small chip surface
(approximately  one cm2 or less). This talk will focus on methods of
numerical approximation for the micro scale fluid problems involved in the
design of such chips.
