Dear Colleagues

We invite you to participate in the 7th EUROMECH Solid Mechanics Conference
( <http://www.dem.ist.utl.pt/esmc2009> ESMC2009), submit your abstract to
any of the General Sessions or to contact the mini-symposia organizers to
participate in the almost 30 mini-symposia that are being organized. Special
Issues of International Scientific Journals are planned for some of the
mini-symposia by their organizers.

The ESMC2009 will be held at Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon, Portugal,
under the auspices of European Mechanics Society (
<http://www.euromech.org/> EUROMECH), during September 7-11, 2009. The
