In face of the different requests for an extension of the deadline for the
abstract submission to the 7th EUROMECH Solid Mechanics Conference (
<http://www.dem.ist.utl.pt/esmc2009> ESMC2009), we inform you that the new
deadline is:

The NEW abstract submission deadline is February 20, 2009.

The registration and abstract submission site for the Conference are open
and waiting for your visit at:  <http://www.dem.ist.utl.pt/esmc2009>
http://www.dem.ist.utl.pt/esmc2009.  Kindly note that you have to (1)
Register to access the submission site, (2) you need to activate your
registration by clicking on a link that will be sent to you upon registering
in the site and (3) finally, getting back to the submission site, you may
upload your abstract, not forgetting to click on the submit button
afterwards.

We renew our invitation to participate in the ESMC2009 to be held at
Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon, Portugal, under the auspices of European
Mechanics Society ( <http://www.euromech.org/> EUROMECH), during September
7-11, 2009 and to submit your abstract to any of the General Sessions or to
contact the mini-symposia organizers to participate in the almost 30
mini-symposia that are being organized. Special Issues of International
Scientific Journals are planned for some of the mini-symposia by their
organizers.
