Dear Colleague,
The IV European Conference on Computational Mechanics: ECCM 2010, organized
by ECCOMAS, will take place in Paris, France, on May 16-21, 2010.
At this meeting we are organizing a MiniSymposium entitled
Computational Multiphysics (Ref. 126)
This MS solicits papers on the model-based simulation of coupled problems
that involve multiway surface or volume coupling of physically heterogeneous
models. Individual problem components may include structures, soil, fluids,
thermal and electromagnetic fields, as well as control systems.
The MS emphasis is on the computational treatment of surface interaction
problems, both exterior and interior, as prototyped by fluid-structure
and soil-structure interaction. Papers on more complex multiphysics
systems such as control-fluid-structure, thermal-fluid-structure or
electromagnetic-structure interaction are also welcome.
If you are presently interested and active in one of the foregoing topics,
we
would like you to consider contributing to this MiniSymposium. Your abstract
should be submitted through the ECCM 2010 website located at
http://www.eccm2010.org/
The site will be open for abstract submission between *September 30*
and *November 20*, 2009. Please do not hesitate to contact us
if you have any questions as regards this MiniSymposium.
The email address of the corresponding organizer (CAF) is
