XVIII Computational Methods in Water Resources (CMWR 2010)

2nd. Announcement and Call for Abstracts

The XVIII Computational Methods in Water Resources (CMWR 2010)
conference
will be held from June 21-24, 2010 at the Technical
University of Cataluña,
Barcelona, Spain, continuing the
tradition of 17 previous biennial meetings
held in North America and
Europe.

The conference will be a forum for the
dissemination of the latest ideas in
the development and application
of advanced computational techniques to
problems in water resources
and related fields, including surface and
subsurface hydrology,
contaminant remediation, carbon sequestration, climate
change, and
nuclear waste storage. A list of the specific sessions is given
below.

The organizers welcome submissions that
either directly involve computations
for water resources or present
concepts relevant to such computations. The
conference will involve
four days of regular and special sessions organized
to address
recurring, emerging, and crosscutting themes in the broader areas
of
computations and water resources. Several keynote speakers will
highlight
each of the sessions.

A very exciting list of special sessions and plenary speakers has been
developed for CMWR 2010. With the abstract deadline fast approaching
(September 31st, 2009) we urge you to submit your abstract now via the
tool provided at: http://congress.cimne.com/CMWR2010
