Objectives
The rapid development of aircrafts and the increase of air traffic in recent 
years have had a profound effect on pavement design and maintenance concepts as 
well as on materials specifications used for airfields. 
The ECCOMAS Thematic Conference on Design and Maintenance of Airfields aims at 
providing the opportunity for research engineers, academic researchers, 
airport operators, aviation consultants, construction contractors to interact 
and exchange technical information.

III International Conference on Mechanical Response of Composites      

Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany, September 21 - 23, 2011

 

The Institute of Structural Analysis (ISD) organizes the ECCOMAS Thematic 
Conference on Mechanical Response of Composites from 21st - 23rd September 
2011 in cooperation with the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the Graduate 
School on Multiscale Methods for Interface Coupling (MUSIC) of Leibniz 
Universität Hannover.

Following the two conferences in Porto (2007) and London (2009), it is the 3rd 
conference in this series. Since the scope of the conference is specifically 
the mechanical response of composites, the conference provides an efficient 
platform for experts on composites analysis.
