A Conference in honor of Peter Wriggers' 60th birthday
Padua, Italy, 12 - 14 September 2011
An ECCOMAS Special Interest Conference

Within the last ten years, computational mechanics has been a field of intense 
research and new and exciting developments. On the occasion of the 60th 
birthday of Peter Wriggers, one of the prominent scientists in this area, the 
conference aims at providing an international forum for researchers, 
practitioners and for all who are concerned with modern concepts, techniques 
and applications in the field of computational mechanics. The participants will 
have the opportunity to discuss recent advances and identify future research 
directions in the field.
