Postdoctoral Research Opportunity

The Laboratory for Computational Biology & Biophysics
(http://lcbb.mit.edu) in the Department of Biological Engineering
at MIT is seeking an outstanding postdoctoral candidate in
computational mechanics and optimization to develop
our new computational framework: Computer-aided
engineering for DNA origami (http://cando-dna-
origami.org), the first computational technology to enable
the calculation of 3D solution shape and stability of
complex nucleic acid based nanostructures. We are
currently extending this framework to enable automated
design and optimization of nucleic acid nanostructures.
The successful candidate will be highly proficient in
nonlinear finite element analysis as well as
computational optimization procedures. Full health and
employment benefits are included. MIT is an equal opportunity employer.
