[NotiAMCA] Bathe Award 2012 and 2014

The 2012 K.J. Bathe Award for the Best Paper by a Young Researcher in 
the Field of Computational Engineering published in the International 
Journal Computers & Structures during 2010-2011 was presented to 
Allen LaBryer, of the University of Oklahoma, USA,  for the paper "A 
Harmonic Balance Approach for Large-Scale Problems in Nonlinear 
Structural Dynamics" by A. LaBryer and P.J. Attar, published in 
Computers & Structures, vol 88, n 17-18, pages 1002-1017, 2010.

This prestigious award is named to recognize the outstanding 
contributions made by Professor K.J. Bathe over many years to the 
field of computational engineering. This Award is made every two 
years.  This time, twenty-six candidates were considered by an 
international panel of experts.  The paper by Allen Labryer was 
judged by the panel to be of outstanding merit and a worthy winner of 
the award.

Carrie Christensen, Publisher Science, Elsevier Ltd. Presenting the 
award to Allen Labryer at CST2012: The Eleventh International 
Conference on Computational Structures Technology in Dubrovnik, 
Croatia. The award included a certificate, 2000 Euros and full 
sponsorship for the winner to attend the CST2012 Conference.

The 2014 K.J. Bathe Award will be given to the author of the best 
paper published in Computers & Structures in the years 2012 and 2013. 
The 2014 K.J. Bathe Award includes a certificate, 5,000 euros and 
full sponsorship to attend the CST2014 Conference

should be under the age of 40 on 1 January 2014.  Further details of
