  Dear Colleagues:

There is still time to submit an abstract to the 12th
        US National Congress on Computational Mechanics, to be
        held in Raleigh, North Carolina, July 22-25, 2013.  The
        deadline has been extended to Friday, March 15,
          2013: http://12.usnccm.org/abstract-submission.
           The Congress has garnered a large number of
        mini-symposia from across computational science and
        engineering, and the list of topics can be found here:

In addition, we are pleased to announce that the
        following short courses will be provided at the
        Congress: The Hybridizable Discontinuous Galerkin Methods
        (by Bernardo Cockburn)

Goal-Oriented Methods: Error Estimation, Adaptive
         Algorithms, Multiscale Modeling (by Serge
        Prudhomme, Kris Van der Zee, and Luca Dede)

Theory and Practice of the Generalized/eXtended
         Finite Element Method (by Armando Duarte and
        Angelo Simone)

Using Algorithmic Differentiation to Compute
         Derivatives for Sensitivity Analysis, Uncertainty
         Quantification, and Optimization (by Sri Hari
        Krishna Narayanan and Jean Utke)
