[NotiAMCA] Post-doctoral positions at Sao Paulo, Brazil

Hi NotiAmca people,

we have three open post-doc positions at three different locations in the
state of São Paulo, Brazil. The one I am involved in concerns the
development
of a Navier-Stokes solver to simulate turbidity currents over realistic
marine
topography. The successful candidate will join an ongoing collaboration with
Mariano Cantero (Instituto Balseiro, Bariloche, Argentina) and will work in
direct contact with both Mariano and myself. The fellowship is for one year
but it can be extended for a second year if the performance is acceptable.
The visa requirements for Brazil are not very burdensome, at least for
applicants
from Argentina, Mercosur in general, Europe or the US. Life in São Carlos
is peaceful, and the compensation allows for a reasonable lifestyle.
