Dear Colleague, 
The 13th edition of the International Conference on Computational Plasticity, COMPLAS XIII, will take place in Barcelona, Spain, on September 1 – 3, 2015.
 
Scientists of international prestige in the field of the conference have confirmed their participation as Plenary Lecturers. These lectures will be complemented by Invited Sessions organized by recognised experts in targeted research areas. 
 
Abstract Submission:
Registration and abstract submission will be through the conference web site. To be able to submit an abstract, you have to first register. Instructions are available at

The deadline for presenting a one page abstract is January 15, 2015. 
 
 
COMPLAS Course:
 
The 13th Short Course on Computational Techniques for Plasticity will be run on August 31st and September 1st 2015.
 
The pre-conference course will be of benefit to participants interested in acquiring a detailed and in-depth description of the application of finite element techniques to a range of plasticity problems; particularly those involving finite strains. 

 The course can be attended separately from the conference, but a reduced combined fee is available for participants in both events.
 
Course directors: Eugenio Oñate (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Spain) and D.R.J. Owen (Swansea University, U.K.)
