[NotiAMCA] IACM scholarships for students attending WCCM XI (Barcelona 2014)

El mail abajo nos informa de UNA (1) beca que la IACM otorga
a socios de AMCA para participar en el WCCM XI en Barcelona.

El candidato debe tener un trabajo aceptado para ser presentado 
en el WCCM.

Quienes deseen postularse para esa beca, deberán comunicarse
lo antes posible con la Secretaría de AMCA.  La C.D. decidirá, entre los 
candidatos postulados, quien será el beneficiario de la beca.

Las candidaturas se recibirán hasta el 24 de febrero, debiendo  indicar 
un breve resumen de su perfil  y la aceptación del trabajo para el congreso.

Dear Prof. Victorio Sonzogni,


IACM has decided to actively support the participation of young investigators 
in the WCCM XI in Barcelona next July by offering a total of 29 scholarships to 
students who wish to attend this next World Congress. The scholarship will 
cover the  <http://www.wccm-eccm-ecfd2014.org/frontal/Fees.asp> reduced 
student registration (375 €).

The IACM Executive Council has decided to award ONE scholarship to each 
Affiliated Association in good standing and with an average number of members 
larger than 10 (average between years 2010-12). 

It is our great pleasure to inform that your association, AMCA, has been 
awarded 1 scholarships. You are kindly requested to inform the IACM 
Secretariat ( <mailto:iacm en cimne.upc.edu> iacm en cimne.upc.edu) the name of the 
scholarship awardee no later than February 28, 2014, taking into account the 
following requirements:

·         The awardee must be a full-time university student,

·         The awardee must have been accepted for an oral presentation at WCCM 
2014 (acceptance notifications will be sent by  <http://www.wccm-eccm-
ecfd2014.org/frontal/Dates.asp> January 31, 2014).

·         The awardee must acknowledge the IACM support in their presentation 
and in the full-length paper.

Together with the name of the awardee we also need to receive a short 
description of how the selection process took place.
