 XII & APCOM VI– A great success The joint 12th
 World Congress on Computational Mechanics (WCCM XII)
 and the 6th Asia-Pacific Congress on
 Computational Mechanics (APCOM VI)(24
 – 29 July 2016, Seoul, Korea) was a great success. Over 2000 participants met in Seoul, coming
 from 49 countries and regions. The scientific program
 consisted of 37 Plenary and Semi-Plenary Lectures, 174
 Minisymposia and 352 sessions. 


 IACM thanks Professor Sung Kie Youn,
 Chairman of the Congress, Professors Soo Won Chae, Yoon Young Kim and Oh Joon
 Kwon (Co-chairmen), Professors Moon Ki Kim and Ik
 Jin Lee(Secretaries) and all the people
 involved in the organization of the congress.

 Proposal Submission Deadline Extended

 The deadline to submit a minisymposium proposal for the 14th
 U.S. National Congress for Computational Mechanics to be held
 in Montreal next summer has been extended
 to Friday, September 30, 2016.
