Dear Colleagues,
The Thirteenth World Congress on Computational Mechanics (WCCM13) and the Second Pan-American Congress on Computational Mechanics (PANACM II) will be held July 22-27, 2018, in New York City. At this event, we are organizing a symposium on “Stabilized, Multiscale and Multiphysics Methods,” dedicated to honoring Professor Thomas JR Hughes on his 75th birthday. The symposium will provide an international forum for engineers, mathematicians and computer scientists to discuss recent developments in the broad field of Stabilized and Multiscale Methods. Given the pre-eminence of these methods the computational mechanics, this symposium promises to bring together a wide variety of disciplines for the exchange of state-of-the-art techniques. We welcome contributions dealing with all aspects of stabilized, multiscale and multiphysics finite elements and isogeometric analysis. We would appreciate if you could confirm your participation along with a tentative title for your talk. It will help us organize the sessions and coordinate with the conference organizers if we could receive your confirmation at your earliest convenience. An abstract will be needed by December 31, 2017.http://www.wccm2018.org/abstract-submission While submitting your abstract, please select MS-103http://www.wccm2018.org/MS_103 We look forward to hearing from you and to meeting you at the conference. Best regards and best wishes for these Holidays and all the best for 2018,Victor CaloIsaac HarariArif Masud
