[NotiAMCA] IACM Scholarships for WCCM 2018- AMCA (2o llamado)

Estimad en s soci en s:

Repito la invitación a postular a candidatos para una beca ofrecida por la
International Association for Computational Mechanics (IACM) para la
inscripción de un estudiante al próximo WCCM XIII -PANACM II que tendrá
lugar en Nueva York del 22 al 27 de julio próximos. 

Ahora la fecha límite de presentación de candidaturas es el próximo 3/4.

El candidato debe reunir las siguientes condiciones:

       1) Ser socio de AMCA o dirigido por un socio de AMCA.

2) Ser estudiante de doctorado a tiempo completo.

3) Ser primer o segundo autor de una presentación oral aceptada en WCCM XIII
-PANACM II.

4) Presentar el correspondiente artículo completo en WCCM XIII -PANACM II.

5) Agradecer a IACM en su presentación oral y en el artículo completo.

6) Alojarse en el hotel del congreso,

En el llamado anterior, la condición de alojarse en el Marriott Marquis era
muy limitante. Ahora, se ha suavizado un poco: hay un registro para que los
estudiantes compartan habitación y así alivien el gasto de alojamiento. Vean
las instrucciones para acceder a esa posibilidad en el email de la
Sectretaría de IACM que va abajo.

Los candidatos deben enviar a  <mailto:amca en santafe-conicet.gov.ar>
amca en santafe-conicet.gov.ar con asunto “POSTULACION ESTUDIANTE WCCM” hasta
el próximo 3/4 los siguientes archivos:

1)      La presentación enviada al congreso.

2)      La notificación de su aceptación. 

3)      CV del candidato.

4)      Si no es socio de AMCA, nombre del socio de AMCA que lo dirige.

Por favor, en caso de no recibir confirmación de AMCA de la recepción de la
candidatura en un plazo de 24hs, contactar telefónicamente con Victor
Fachinotti (0342 4511594/5 interno 7045), o Sandra Sarano (0342 4511594/5
interno 7009).

El resultado de la selección se informará el próximo 4/4.

Dear Prof. Fachinotti,

This is a kind reminder that the deadline for informing us about the Awardee
Scholar from AMCA is March 23.

We strongly encourage all students to choose the conference package offered
in the conference website , which offer the possibility to share the room in
order to stay in budget if required.

The steps would be as follows:

-          Make your conference package reservation or hotel reservation in
the official booking tools of the conference. (There are no more rooms
available the night of the 27. If you enter July 28 as the departure date is
may show that there are no more rooms available. Adjust your departure time
to July 27 and you will see the conference rate)

-          You will have the option to add up to 2 roommates (total of 3).
The room will be automatically charged to the person making the reservation.
In case of 3 guests, the additional 30USD costs will be charged upon check
out. Please find below the final costs for room sharing below:

Room Share Group:  If you would like help in finding a roommate to share
lodging, you can request an invitation to the official Room Share Group.
