[NotiAMCA] Anuncio MECOM 2021

Estimados colegas,

Nos complace anunciar el primer llamado para envío de resúmenes al próximo XXXVII Congreso Argentino de Mecánica Computacional (MECOM 2021) que se llevará a cabo en la ciudad de Resistencia, Chaco-Argentina, del 3 al 5 de noviembre de 2021 ( <https://amcaonline.org.ar/mecom2021/> https://amcaonline.org.ar/mecom2021/).  En virtud de la incertidumbre mundial causada por la situación sanitaria actual, no es posible confirmar en este momento si la modalidad que finalmente se adopte para el congreso será presencial o 100% virtual.

La serie de congresos ENIEF/MECOM consisten en eventos anuales organizados con el auspicio del la Asociación Argentina de Mecánica Computacional (AMCA). Dentro de los objetivos de estos encuentros cabe mencionar el de promover la difusión científica y tecnológica relacionada con los métodos computacionales en la ingeniería y el de favorecer el intercambio de experiencias científicas y profesionales relacionadas con el uso de métodos numéricos y técnicas computacionales, no solo a nivel científico o académico, sino también con el fin de transferir tecnología al sector industrial. Estos eventos se ha convertido en el principal punto de encuentro en el país de investigadores y usuarios para discutir y explorar el estado del arte de los métodos computacionales en la ingeniería.

La fecha límite para el envío de resúmenes al MECOM 2021 es el 15 de abril del corriente año. Los envíos deben realizarse exclusivamente a través de la plataforma OCS https://amcaonline.org.ar/ocs/index.php/mecom2020/ .
Tanto la preparación de los artículos completos como la versión final de los resúmenes deben llevarse a cabo acorde al formato AMCA style https://amcaonline.org.ar/foswiki/Main/AMCA/AmcaStyle .

Cabe recordar que los resúmenes enviados durante el primer llamado se mantienen en la plataforma  OCS y serán considerados para su presentación en la presente edición del congreso, a menos que los autores decidan darlo de baja.

Por favor, tenga en cuenta las siguientes fechas importantes:
  Fecha límite para el envío de resúmenes: 15 de abril, 2021
  Notificación de aceptación de resúmenes: 29 de mayo, 2021
  Fecha límite para el envío de trabajos completos: 17 de julio, 2021

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the first call for abstracts for the upcoming XXXVII Argentine Congress on Computational Mechanics (MECOM 2021) to be held in the city of Resistencia, Chaco-Argentina, November 3-5, 2021 (https://amcaonline.org.ar/mecom2021/). Due to the global uncertainty caused by the current health situation, it is not possible to confirm at this moment whether the adopted modality of the congress will be face-to-face or 100% virtual.

The ENIEF/MECOM series of congresses are annual events organized under the auspices of the Argentine Association of Computational Mechanics (AMCA). Among the objectives of these meetings are to promote scientific and technological dissemination related to computational methods in engineering and to favor the exchange of scientific and professional experiences related to the use of numerical methods and computational techniques, not only at a scientific or academic level, but also with the aim of transferring technology to the industrial sector. These events have become the main meeting point in the country for researchers and users to discuss and explore the state of the art of computational methods in engineering.

The deadline for submitting abstracts is 15 April 2021. Submissions should be made exclusively through the OCS platform https://amcaonline.org.ar/ocs/index.php/mecom2020/ 

Both, the preparation of the full papers and the final version of the abstract,  should be carried out according to the AMCA style https://amcaonline.org.ar/foswiki/Main/AMCA/AmcaStyle format.

 

Please note that abstracts submitted during the first call for abstracts on 2020 will remain on the OCS platform and will be considered for presentation at the current edition of the congress, unless the authors decide to retract them.
 
Please note the following important dates:
  Abstract submission deadline: April 15, 2021.
  Notification of acceptance of abstracts: May 29, 2021
  Deadline for submission of full papers: July 17, 2021
