The objectives of the Argentine Association for Computational Mechanics (AMCA) are:
To promote the diffusion of scientific and technological information related to computational mechanics and applied numerical methods.
To promote the scientific and professional interchange in the use of numerical methods and computer techniques both in research and industrial applications.
To stimulate research and learning of basic theory of computational mechanics in undergraduate and postgraduate university programs.
To foster academic, industrial and governmental institutions interested in research and technological innovations in this area, setting up a forum for discussion of problems involving basic sciences, technological sciences and industry.
For this the Association performs:
Coordination of scientific meetings, conferences and congress.
Interchange of scientific information among their members.
Organization of a regular congress of AMCA.
Edition of a bulletin, as well as books and other publications.
AMCA is a national affiliated organization of International Association for Computational Mechanics.
