Algunas Aplicaciones del Método de Doble Malla a Problemas de Evolución y Autovalores
Abstract
The composite mesh technique has been successfully used in finite element analysis of elliptic problems, in particular in elastic response problems. This technique allows us to obtain accurate solutions with coarse meshes, without increasing the computational cost. It has been presented in past conferences. In this paper, numerical experiences in applying this technique to other kind of problems, such as evolutionary heat transfer problems and free vibration of elastic solids, are shown.
