Procedimientos para la Generación de Mallas Tridimensionales de Elementos Finitos

Abstract

In this work a computational system for the construction of non-structured finite element meshes for three dimensional domains is presented. The different steps involved in the process are pescribed including: geometry description using a standard OlD system, specijication of the desired discretization, surface and volume mesh generation and the application of some meshimprovement
methods. Finally, a discussion on different approaches for the use of adaptive techniques are included.
