Algoritmo de Contacto Friccional y su Aplicación en Problemas de Conformación Mecánica
Abstract
Effects of contact and friction are present in many engineering problems such as for example in metal forming processes.
An algorithm that accounts for the unilateral contact with friction effect of a rigid surface with prescribed displacement on a flexible body using the penalty function approach is described in this work.
Two numerical exmaples are included and some difficulties in the computational implementation are indicated.
