Resoluςão de Estruturas Reticulares de Concreto Armado com Consideraςões de Não-Linearidades Geométricas e Física
Abstract
This paper shows the resolution of framed concrete structures, in which it is considered that the material does not obey Hooke's law and that deformations on the structure cause changes on the member-end actions. An iterative method was developed so that, at each iteration, results of the previous resolution are used, in order to modify the member stiffness matrices.
In order to do this, a computer program was developed, in BASIC, in which the modified member stiffness matrices are obtained considering that moment of inertia varies through the members 'length, due to cracking, the elasticity modulus is not constant and the members' axes
are not straight lines, causing the coupling of the six joint coordinates.
