Dear Colleague,

The Symposium (to be held at ICCES09, 8-13 April 2009 in Phuket, Thailand)
will gather prominent researchers with common interests in computational
mathematics and computational mechanics from all over the world. It is
expected that researchers from different fields will exchange new ideas. Both
mathematicians and engineers will be brought together to discuss the recent
developments in the highly efficient meshless methods for solving a wide
variety of large scale problems. The focus will be on:

- Meshless Local Petrov-Galerkin Methods,
- Mesh-reduction Methods,
- Boundary Element Methods,
- Boundary Node and Hybrid Boundary Node Methods,
- Modern and Novel Computational Techniques,
- Meshless Multi-scale and Mutli-physics Computational Methods,
- Element Free Galerkin Methods,
- Local Boundary Integral Equations,
- Radial Basis Functions, Multiquadrics, Moving least Squares
- Methods of Fundamental Solutions,
- Trefftz Methods,
- SPH,
- Wavlets Methods,
- Levelsets Methods.

A very broad set of researchers in modern computational methods is expected
and encouraged to attend this important conference in Thailand.

Other meshless formulations will be encouraged also. Open questions are to be
highlighted in panel discussions.
