ECCM-ECFD 2018 – Submission of proposals for
Minisymposia
The new deadline for submission
of proposals for Minisymposia is 31 st
March 2017
In
accordance with the tradition of ECCOMAS events,
the conferences will be open
to the latest developments in all aspects of
computational mechanics and
computational fluid dynamics. The organizers
particularly encourage proposals
for Minisymposia in new and developing areas that
broaden the fields of
application.
Guidelines for the proposal and organisation of
Minisymposia as well as further
information concerning the joint conference may be
found at http://www.eccm-ecfd2018.org/ .

XIV International Conference on
Computational Plasticity.
Fundamentals and Applications – COMPLAS 2017
5 – 7 September 2017,
Barcelona Spain
COMPLAS 2017
will celebrate the 30 th anniversary
of the first COMPLAS
conference, in 1987.
The objectives of COMPLAS
2017
are to address both the theoretical bases for the
solution of plasticity
problems and the numerical algorithms necessary
for efficient and robust
computer implementation.
COMPLAS
2017 aims
to act as a forum for practitioners in the field
to discuss recent advances and
identify future research directions
The COMPLAS
Course 2017 (an ECCOMAS
Advanced Course ) will take
place on 4 – 5 September.
Upcoming
Deadline:
Submission of
Abstracts: 29

International
Conference on
Computational Methods in Wood Mechanics - from
Material Properties to Timber
Structures – CompWood 2017
7 – 9 June 2017 / Vienna, Austria
The
goal of CompWood
is to establish a
platform for knowledge exchange between scientists
in the field of
computational wood mechanics. Related experimental
and theoretical research as
well as applied research up to design solutions
for practical examples are also
welcome, to extend the knowledge base of this
unique material. Thus, the
scientific and technical areas covered by this
conference are experimental
investigations, numerical and analytical models,
and design concepts for wood
at different length scales, wood-based products,
building components, and
timber structures.
Distinguished
colleagues have already agreed to give a Keynote
Lecture.
Further
information can be found at: http://compwood.conf.tuwien.ac.at

Applications – PARTICLES 2017
26 – 28
September 2017 / Hannover, Germany
PARTICLES
2017 will
address both the fundamental basis and the
applicability of state-of-the-art
particle-based computational methods that can be
effectively used for solving a
variety of problems in engineering and applied
sciences.
