The objective of this work is to present a probabilistic model for the analysis of rectangular reinforced concrete sections subjected to oblique flexural-compression at the ultimate limit state. The parabola-rectangle diagram is used for concrete and a bilinear diagram for steel, transforming surface integrals into line integrals. The deformed configuration corresponding to failure equilibrium is determined using the Newton-Raphson method. The main mechanical, geometrical, and loading properties are considered as random variables. By applying the FORM method, the resistant capacity of the section is obtained and the reliability index is estimated. Finally, design and reliability charts are presented in accordance with the Brazilian Standard of NBR-6118/2023.
