About the Journal

Aims and scope

The Argentine Association For Computational Mechanics presents the collection of full paper conference proceedings Mecánica Computacional to provide its members and all the participants of the AMCA Conferences (ENIEF and MECOM) a place for the publication of their works in the field of Computational Mechanics.

The range of appropriate contributions is wide, and includes any type of computational method for the simulation of complex engineering problems, covering the following topics:

  • Fluid mechanics
  • Heat and mass transfer
  • Solid mechanics
  • Structural analysis
  • Multiphysics problems
  • Multiscale modeling
  • Biomechanics
  • Fluid-structure interaction
  • Computational mathematics and numerical methods
  • Mesh generation and error estimation
  • Industrial and environmental applications
  • Modeling of multibody systems
  • Innovative computational methods
  • Inverse problems and optimization
  • Software development
  • High-performance computing
  • Teaching of numerical methods
